Community Involvement:

In addition to her architectural practice, Carol Hickey is a senior adjunct instructor at Franklin and Marshall College-art department.

Our volunteer and community service efforts have included the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County, Lancaster City Historic Review Board, Lancaster YWCA, IU-13 Gifted Program, and Lancaster-Lebanon Science &Technology Alliance, Lancaster 250 celebration,

Notable projects in the Lancaster area:

Historic Overlook Barn on the Manheim Township Overlook Campus; Binns Park, stage and architectural features in downtown Lancaster; Allen Theater in Annville; Elizabethtown Public Library; and The Hess Agency historic barn in Mt. Joy; Strasburg Fire Company; Union Canal and Tunnel in Lebanon; Hummelstown Square; and the Lancaster Science Factory. We were the Associate Architects (with Philip Johnson-Alan Ritchie Architects of NYC) for the Pennsylvania Academy of Music project in downtown Lancaster.
